- This is a fully functional tunnel boring machine model. This unique side dumper is equipped with a single motor that drives all mechanical functions. The cutting head crawls along with the motor unit to feed debris into the side dumper and is equipped with a rotating milling head. A conveyor belt runs crawling like a snail through the entire machine and side dumper to vacuum out the debris.
