- This model is based on the famous World War II battleship and was designed and authorized by count_of_brick. The battleship's slim hull is capable of carrying all types of weapons and turrets.
- The ship is the first new building from AG Vulcan-Werft in Hamburg, which opened in 1909 as a subsidiary of Stettiner Maschinenbau AG Vulcan. The launch took place on June 10, 1911 and the commissioning took place on October 15, 1912.
- Frederick the Great served as flagship of the High Seas Fleet for more than four years and in this capacity took part in the Battle of Skagerka, which he survived unscathed.
