- The Adler, Germany's first commercially operated train, began operating on December 7, 1835 on a 7.45 km route between Nuremberg and Fürth with a top speed of 65 km/h. As such it is undoubtedly a very significant object in the history of German railways. This MOC is a dynamic version of the train, powered by an engine.
