  • The City of the Dragon Slayer is a castle built by the Black Knight on a rocky mountain top. A ballista on the main tower allows you to spot dragons from afar. A drawbridge with arrows guards the entrance. In the castle courtyard you will find a forge, a well, a wood supply and a stable. Underground there is a dungeon and a food storage facility in case of a siege. On the ground floor are the kitchen and the armory. On the first floor there is a chapel, a large hall and the king's office. On the second floor is the king's bedroom and treasury. Finally, the wizard has set up his laboratory on the top floor of the tower.
  • Lichtenstein Castle is a historic-style castle built in the 19th century in the district of Reutlingen in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It is located on a steep cliff in the valley of the river Echaz, on the northwest side of the Swabian Alb, at an altitude of about 817 meters. About 500 meters southeast of the castle lie the ruins of the medieval castle Altes Lichtenstein.
The original Old Lichtenstein Castle, near the current castle, was destroyed and abandoned in the Swabian War of 1381. However, in 1390 a new castle was built in its place, which was considered one of the strongest fortresses of the late Middle Ages, aging and successfully repelling attacks from all opponents. Over time, it lost its strategic importance and in 1567 the Duke of Swabia moved his residence to another location, leaving the castle as a forester's building. During the Thirty Years' War, the Habsburg dynasty of Tyrol owned the castle as a pledge. It then fell into disrepair.
In 1687, the last Lord of Lichtenstein died in battle against the Turks, and since no descendants were known, the family died out. The original coat of arms of the Lichtenstein family - a blue shield with golden angel wings - is still painted in the hall of Lichtenstein Castle.
