  • MOC-15594 USS Enterprise (CV-6) Authorized and licensed by Resqusto, can dynamically perform various functional movements with two engines.
  • The USS Enterprise (CV-6) was a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier built for the United States Navy in the 1930s. She was the seventh US Navy ship with that name. Colloquially known as “The Big E,” she was the sixth aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. Launched in 1936, she was one of only three American aircraft carriers commissioned before World War II to see out the war (the others were Saratoga and Ranger). She took part in more major actions in the war against Japan than any other United States ship. These actions included the attack on Pearl Harbor – 18 Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bombers from their air group arrived over the harbor during the attack; Seven were shot down, eight airmen were killed and two wounded. This made her the only American aircraft carrier with a crew at Pearl Harbor during the attack and the first to suffer casualties during the Pacific War - the Battle of Midway, the Battle of the Eastern Solomons, the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands, various others Air-sea battles during the Guadalcanal Campaign, the Battle of the Philippine Sea and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. The Enterprise received 20 battle stars, the most of any U.S. warship in World War II, and was the most decorated U.S. ship of World War II. She also became the first American ship to sink a full-size enemy warship after the Pacific War was declared when her aircraft sank the Japanese submarine I-70 on December 10, 1941. During the war, the Japanese announced three times that she had been sunk in battle, earning her the nickname "The Gray Ghost." By the end of the war, their aircraft and guns had shot down 911 enemy aircraft, sunk 71 ships, and damaged or destroyed 192 others.
  • Despite public efforts after the war to convert the Enterprise into a museum ship, the Enterprise was ultimately scrapped between 1958 and 1960.
