- At 828 metres (2,717 feet), Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest skyscraper and one of its most famous architectural landmarks. Completed in 2010, it features a luxury hotel, office space, apartments and an observation deck at a height of 555 metres. With 163 floors (out of a total of 189), the tower was originally called Dubai Tower before being officially renamed Burj Khalifa in honour of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
