This model, designed and authorized by building.maritime, is a replica of the German F-124 in 1:485 scale.

The F-124 Sachsen-class is the latest generation of anti-aircraft frigates of the German Navy. The Sachsen-class is based on the design of the F-123 Brandenburg-class and has improved stealth capabilities to deceive radar and acoustic sensors. These frigates are equipped with the modern multifunctional radars APAR and SMART-L, which are capable of detecting stealth aircraft and missiles.

Although classified as frigates, they have capabilities equivalent to destroyers and are intended to replace the Navy's Lütjens class. In June 1996, the German government signed a contract to build three ships with an option for a fourth, initially named Thüringen, which was not exercised. The construction cost of these three ships was €2.1 billion, making it one of the German Navy's most expensive naval projects.
