- The Jem'Hadar battle cruiser was a type of large battleship used by the Dominion during the late 24th century. The battle cruiser was armed with both directed energy weapons and torpedoes; in 2373, a single vessel of this class was perceived by the crew of Deep Space 9 as a substantial threat, even with an Excelsior-class starship posted nearby. The main weapon of the battle cruiser was a forward torpedo launcher, which could fire multiple torpedoes in a single volley and had a wide firing arc. It also had a dorsally mounted beam emitter.
