• From the designer: This is a fortress I made using only parts of the Creator 3-in-1 31120-1 Medieval Castle. I took some of the aesthetic from the original 3-in-1 build and then mixed it with my own aesthetic to create something that looks new and retro at the same time. It's incredibly easy to build this. I disassembled the original 3-in-1 castle and was able to recreate this in a matter of hours through unsorted parts. The drawbridge works! I have attached a video to demonstrate the drawbridge function. It has about a 98% success rate (unlike the official Lego drawbridge which never works for me). If the drawbridge doesn't work, see below. The fort has hinges that allow it to be accessed and it has clips to hold it in place. Conveniently the same clips could be used to attach a modular attachment to extend the fort. Unfortunately, I don't own any other 3-in-1 lock, so I can't create my own accessories. If this fort proves popular I'll rush out and buy another 3-in-1 castle and work on a modular addition. The house from behind rests only on slabs and 4 studs. It can be detached to maintain accessibility in the lower area. Or if you want to add your own house, switching between the two houses is easy and potentially modular. Maybe in the future I can create something that works with it. (maybe another tower)
