- Have you ever wondered what a Gothic brick cathedral would look like if it were as big in proportion to a minifigure as a real cathedral is to us? This build is your answer! A regular minifigure is about 1:42 scale, so this cathedral with an internal height of 89 (35”) cm is equivalent to a real cathedral with an internal height of 38 m (124') and is just as detailed as a real Gothic cathedral!
- For comparison: Strasbourg Cathedral has an interior height of 32 m (105') in the nave, Reims Cathedral in France has an interior height of 38 m (124') and Cologne Cathedral even reaches 42 m (138').
- This piece of a cathedral is best placed in front of a window, where a beautiful play of sunlight, colorful rays from the windows and clear shadows from the flying buttresses can work their magic and make everything look incredible!
- The build consists of over 41,000 parts in 606 lots, weighs over 25 kilograms (55 lb), and measures 102.4 cm (40.3") wide (4x 32x32 base plates), 26.4 cm (10.4") deep, and 131.4 cm (51.4") high. The interior is 89 cm (35") high from floor to vault, and the central nave is 32 cm (12.6") wide. The base is sturdy enough for two people to carry the structure in one go, but you can also disassemble it into its modules for easy transport.
